Updating my review (June 16, 2024): - Prices like almost every grocery has gone up, way up. This store is still the best place to get western-style Chinese baked goods. Prices per bun is about $3.29 with a few around $2.99. This is about on par with that rather poorly run bakery at Li Ming's. To me, the appeal and freshness of the bakery at Grand Asia is more worth spending $3.29 on the bun than at Li Ming's, which really looks unappealing. - More on the bakery: they have a new bakery case. While this doesn't make the baked goods better, it does increase the overall visual appeal of the bakery to keep it fresh looking. Compare that to the bakery at Li Ming's which looks rather unkempt and the case (presumably on wheels) keeps shifting around in position every several weeks (sometimes it's parallel to the lunch counter, other times it's perpendicular to it, almost like it doesn't know how to orient itself and what its future is! Grand Asia's vegetable section is acceptable, but it does pale in comparison to Li Ming's in terms of variety and price which Li Ming is overall much better. Grand Asia's frozen section also does pale a bit in comparison to Li Ming's which is also more in quantity and variety. Overall, my impressions of Grand Asia hasn't changed. It still is way ahead in its bakery, but behind in other areas. (Oh, I can't compare the hot foods bar. Grand Asia and Li Ming's serve different food and they both look quite delicious, but I haven't really tried either regularly enough. In the past decade, I've probably only eaten up to 4 times total in both places.)

Excellent store to shop. Everyone is very nice and the bakery is so delicious. One stop shop is my favorite thing to do. Eat lunch, grocery shopping and stop by the front and get your dessert. Reasonable prices. I do wish however, that there would be more GNO items to choose from. I read all my labels before I purchase. Love the store though!!

Grand Asia never disappoints. I find what i need, especially for hotpot at home. This is one of my favorite places to shop. The variety is extensive and I love that. The staff is always friendly.

They got some good stuff and they have little restaurants and have some drinks that I like.
